Hervey Bay Visitor Information Centre

Why do so many people of all ages and walks of life choose Hervey Bay as their destination of choice?

Is it Hervey Bay's relaxed pace, idyllic climate, safe year-round swimming and unspoilt environment?

Is it Hervey Bay's range of accommodation options, great dining experiences and the abundance of outdoor activities?

Is it that Hervey Bay is the gateway to two World Heritage areas - Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world, and Lady Elliot Island, the southern-most island of the Great Barrier Reef?
